Chapter 130: Extra Story of Key and Rika 1

Four years later.

Rika graduated from college and applied for an interview at her brother's company, for the position: of accountant. Her interviewer is Key. Now, he has been promoted to senior managing. He's a genius, that's why David promoted him.

If she wanted to, Rika would be able to join the company immediately without having to be interviewed. But she doesn't want that. She doesn't want any special benefits. She wants to go up by her ability, not based on her relationship as the CEO's sister.

At the end of the interview, Key and Rika came out of the office.

"Congratulations, you have been recruited into our company." Key said while walking with Rika in the hallway.

"Isn't it because I'm David's brother's sister?" Rika asked.

Key shook his head. "No. You're talented. The company can't ignore talented people like you."

"You're being a bit pompous. I'm inexperienced."

"But your attitude and your answers demonstrate that you are competent."

Rika smiled and looked at the person opposite. "That is a compliment?"

"Of course." Key doesn't flatter or flatter Rika, she's talented. Her performance in college was very good. He believes that she will be a good, hard worker.

"Let's go eat, okay?" Rika looked at the watch on her wrist and asked.

Key happily accepted.

"Key, would you like to have lunch with me?" Wendy asked while she touched his shoulder. That action made Rika not have a good impression of Wendy.

Key looked awkward in front of the two girls.

Key replied. "She's the employee I just hired."

Wendy nodded and extended her hand to Rika. "Hello, I'm Wendy. Nice to meet you." Rika shook Wendy's hand. "Hello, I'm Rika. Please help me a lot in the future." She tried to force a smile.

Wendy didn't answer, she just smiled and nodded, and turned to Key. "Again, would you like to have lunch with me?"

Key hesitated again. He didn't have the heart to refuse Wendy's offer, because at work they were a very good couple. He also doesn't want Rika to misunderstand his relationship with Wendy.

Rika leaves when Key can't answer. Although he is a good, honest man, he has only one flaw, which is indecisiveness.

Key was about to chase Rika when Wendy held her hand. "You haven't answered my question yet?" She held up the lunch box in front of him.

"I... I'm not hungry."

"Who is she, what is her relationship to you, why do you seem so interested in her?" Wendy frowned.

Key is difficult to answer, he is a shy person when it comes to love. He can't tell Wendy that 'She's the one I like'. So he chose to stay silent and shoved Wendy's hand away, running in the direction Rika had just gone. But he couldn't find her anywhere.

Today was Rika's first day at work, so she arrived a little earlier. Some people in the company know that she is the sister of the general manager, but some people do not know it.

But Wendy saw the employee card in front of Rika's chest, and she speculated. "Your last name is Anthony, what is your relationship with the general manager?"

"I'm his sister," Rika admitted.

"I thought the CEO's sister didn't need to go through the interview stage?" Wendy frowned.

Rika shrugged. "When I entered the company to work, I was like any other ordinary employee. I didn't want any special incentives."

"Oh, you surprised me. Anyway, I'm more experienced than you, if you need anything, I'll help."

"Thank." Rika forced a smile.

"Now, I have to go to Key's office."

Before Wendy could walk, Rika asked. "You and Key seem to be very close.

"Yes. We are a very good couple. He is a gallant and kind guy. When I first joined the company, he helped me a lot, he even drove me home after work. " Wendy said with a beaming face, she completely ignored Rika's annoyed expression.

"I have to go. See you later." Rika said and left her place.

Rika came to a discreet corner and mumbled. 'You like Wendy, why are you flirting with me? You're a jerk.'

She said that, but she couldn't get mad at Key over petty things.

At eleven o'clock, Rika stopped what she was doing. She stretches and does a few relaxing moves. Her phone says she has a new message from Key. She smiled and opened it. 'Let's go to dinner together, okay?'

Rika finished reading the message, rearranged everything on the table, and went to Key's office.

At this moment, Wendy is in his room. She gave him a brochure. "This is the company's upcoming report and project. Please take a look."

Now, David has handed over the management of the company to Key. Because he wants to be with his wife and children more.

"Good." Key said after looking at the document.

"Shall we go to lunch?" Wendy suggested. "I brought a lunch box."

"Sorry, I'm waiting for you." Key said while shutting down the computer.

Wendy raised her eyebrows, she wondered who Key's friends were. She then sees Rika walking down the hallway and Rika getting ready to go to Key's office.

Wendy understood who Key was waiting for. For a minute, she had a bad idea in her head. She timed it right when Rika opened Key's door, she pretended to slip and fall on his lap, even with her uncle hugging his waist.

Rika saw that scene, and without saying a word, she turned and ran away.

Key pushed Wendy away and ran out of the office. He held Rika's hand. "Listen to me. It's just a misunderstanding."

Rika bit her lip. "You like Wendy, don't you? So, why do you still like me?"

"No. I... Rika, can you calm down, okay?"

"What do you mean? If you already like Wendy then don't meet me."

Key wanted to say but Wendy took him away. "Do you think we're a good couple? We understand each other very well."

Key widened his eyes in surprise, looking at Wendy. "What are you saying?"

"It's true. Everyone in the company says so." Wendy said while holding Key's arm even though he tried to remove her arm.

Rika's face was both angry and painful. She didn't want to stand here any longer. After work, she went home immediately.
