"Ephraim, tell the boys to get ready. I'll just send Astreille home, I'll be back after."

The girl bit her lower lip before sneezing. When the young man finished talking on the phone, Astreille immediately approached his boss.

"B-Boss," she called his attention.

His lip lifted before he pinched her cheek slightly. "Na-uh, baby, call me Xord whenever we're alone."

She smiled awkwardly. "Xord. About s-what are you going to do, I can really help," he convinced her.

"No. I'll take you home, come on. You have to rest--"

"Just do your work at home, it's easy," he quickly interrupted what the man was going to say.

"What?"

"Because, you will be more comfortable to relax since there are two vacant rooms there. Then there are also many laptops that can be used there so that you can do your job properly. I can also help you guys if you need something, so s- go ahead, you agreed, "Astreille pleaded him.

The man smiled in front of her before kissing her softly on the cheek. "How can I say no when your eyes are pleading? I don't want to turn you down, my baby."

She giggled a little, she can't wait to welcome her new friends inside her house. Marie is sure to be happy too because she has new friends to introduce here.

"Come on, let's tell Teodore. I'll help you with your things," she excitedly said while grabbing his arm gently.

The man laughed and shook his head at his action. He carefully let go of her hand. "I can handle my stuff. Come on, prepare your things. We're going."

The girl nodded her head before entering her office. She carried her bag and the purple teddy bear before going out. A mischievous smile appeared on the man's lips when he saw her hug the stuffed toy he gave her.

Xord held Astreille's hand before accompanying her inside the elevator. That teddy bear is quite helpful, he inserted a microchip inside it so he can hear Astreille's words inside her office whenever he's not around.

The young man tightened his grip on the girl's waist when he saw the excitement in her eyes.

Astreille immediately released from the man's grip when they reached the ground floor. They immediately Teodore and the other three, they're about to ride the elevator but they see them.

"Hey, boss. Are we going up to your office yet?" Kyel said while looking at them.

"I'll just send Astreille home. We can talk about it later," the young man replied.

"Oh, all right. Be careful boss. Princess don't touch that boss because there's a demon race," Teodore joked around before sticking his tongue out to tease Xord.

Xord rolled his eyes in a manly way. "I'm just kidding. Come with us."

"Ha? Why boss?" Greg asked from the side.

"Astreille told me that we can stay in her house for one night, so we'll be more comfortable. And I know that your resistance will go down even if you don't do anything, you guys need to rest too. There are two vacant bedrooms inside her house. So, come on. " The four men were just stunned by their boss because of what he said.

Astreille just waved her hand to them before Xord pulled her away from the boys.

It's their first time hearing Xord exceed the limit of 10 words. If it speaks only to a limited extent, sometimes it just gives them a shake and a nod.

He sounded calm also while talking to them. It has always visited and hated the world, but now, it is different.

"I really feel like there's something in those two that they're not telling us," Teodore said while grinning widely.

"Didn't Astreille himself refuse? He said there was nothing--"

Kyel quickly punched Greg. "Tanga!"

"Aray! Why are you resisting, do you have a problem with your brain or are you really jealous of my good looks?" Greg exclaimed.

Kyel just raised his middle finger. "Which person keeps a secret and then confesses? Probably nothing!"

"But what if we're just assuming, then there's really nothing?" Greg added.

"Alas, Astreille and boss are still the same thing. A demon and an angel. A cry and a lover of tears, where are you," Teodore laughed at the two.

Ephraim just shook his head while grinning. "Gossips. We're supposed to follow there, hurry up."

The three men relaxed their faces before following Ephraim. They arrived at the parking lot where they found two people busy in conversation.

Ephraim sneezed to get the two's attention.

Astreille immediately smiled at them before waving her hands. Smiling, the four men waved at him.

"Drive Astreille's car, she'll come with me," Xord said before throwing Astreille's car key to Ephraim.

Confused, the young man caught it in shock. "Tomorrow boss, how about going home?"

"Just come with me tomorrow. Besides, you can take a rest for tomorrow. Consider it as one day off." Whistle the three men jumped when they heard that.

"Ephraim, go straight to Astreille's house. Wait for us there, we'll go to the grocery first to buy stocks. I know that you guys are a bunch of hungry wolves." Xord turned to the girl. "Astreille, let's go."

Astreille flashed a sweet smile before waving goodbye to the four guys. "Be careful! Ba-bye!"

"Bye princess! Don't get too close to the boss, ha! You might be infected by his evil!" Teodore shouted.

The girl just let out a giggle before riding Xord's car. The four men just waited for them to leave before turning to the girl's car.

"Come on you idiots, maybe later instead of us waiting for them, they'll wait for us. Another pass from Xord Knights," Greg said laughing.

Ephraim shook his head while laughing. Even when they really are.
