Miracle's hand stopped from painting when one thing struck her mind. He lowered his hand before smiling sweetly.

She hurriedly went outside the room before closing it. He next walked closer to the digital calendar taped to the wall. A smile immediately crept across her lips when she saw the date.

She felt so stupid that she just realized it now. It's October 12, and Trigger's birthday is on October 13. It's his wife's birthday tomorrow but he forgot!

She walked towards their room to see if Trigger's there, but she found no traces of her husband.

"Maybe it's in the company. I'm so tired, I don't want to rest," she softly murmured to herself.

He looked at the digital calendar again. She's so excited for Trigger. She wants her husband to feel happy on her birthday. He only saw Trigger celebrate his own birthday once, and no one else greeted him.

Even Trigger's brothers and parents are mad at him. The Knights family knew what Trigger's doing to her so the whole Knights were wild with the man. Maybe that's one of the reasons why her husband is so mad at her.

Maybe Trigger's blaming her for it.

That's why Miracle never wanted her husband to lose some friends, to lose Enica. He must be so lonely in his life.

In her situation, her parents are also mad at her for unknown reasons. But he was used to such a situation. Even when he was young, he only received beatings and anger from them so it was not new.

But Trigger, the situation is different. He used to be close to his brothers until she came and ruined his life.

Miracle sighed when she remembered that she didn't have a gift for her husband yet. The woman's eyes rolled quickly, wondering what she would give her as a gift.

Trigger has everything, so when he gives material things to it. It doesn't have a pack, and it can't even be excited.

She bit her lower lip before running towards the room where she was. Maybe if she'll paint Trigger's portrait, he'll get excited since it's not something that a person will expect.

Her heart almost jumped with joy as she carefully painted her husband's face. After all, he was always frowning and she had never seen him smile in front of her. She painted Trigger's portrait where he's smiling sweetly.

"I hope he'll like this one," she whispered to herself.

THE woman was tired of lying on the bed when she felt pain in her arms. It took him four hours to paint a picture of the wife.

In the end, her struggles are worth it. Trigger's portrait is the one of the most beautiful pieces she ever painted.

He stood up on the bed and set aside the portrait of his wife and her baby. She giggled softly while staring at the two most important people in her life.

"Your father will like you for sure, baby. I hope everything will be okay once he finds out about your existence," she whispered while staring at her child's image.

She went down to the kitchen to cook for her husband. Shanelle told her that whenever her husband is tired and stressed, she cooks it. That's why Miracle wanted to do that also.

He knew that his wife would come home later. Triggers usually come home between 12 AM to 2 AM around weekends. It is true that he wanted to greet it at the drop of twelve o'clock.

Seeing how Trigger acted a while ago, it feels like he forgot about his birthday also.

Miracle rolled her eyes when she heard the crackle from the living room. He hurriedly got out of bed and put on the house slippers.

She got out of their bedroom to confirm if her husband was already home. When she peeked from above, she saw Trigger sitting on the sofa while massaging his own forehead.

Miracle hurriedly took the portrait she painted and carried it as she went downstairs. Trigger hadn't noticed his presence yet so he carefully laid the painting on the side.

Before he approached it he felt the cellphone vibrate from inside the pocket. She quickly opened the message from an unknown number.

Hey, pretty! I took your number from Trigger's phone a while ago so don't ask me where I got it. This is Enica. But look at this. Your husband's with someone else a while ago. I wanted to punch him straight in the face but I didn't want to lead you on. Do you know this girl, by chance? If not, I'll beat her to death.

After Miracle read Enica's message, she then opened the picture she sent.

She saw Trigger's picture accompanying another woman. And they look sweet.

Miracle smiled bitterly. What else has changed?

She approached Trigger who immediately looked up when she noticed his presence.

"Why are you still awake?" It's a cold question.

Miracle felt Trigger's aura in an instant. She knew that he's having a big problem right now. Maybe another issue happened to the company. So even though he was lethargic because of the message he received from Enica, instead of wishing her 'Happy birthday', other words came out of his mouth.

"What happened?" she worriedly asked him.

Trigger didn't answer her. She was about to open the lights but Trigger stopped her by grabbing her wrist. "Go to sleep. Don't mind me."

Miracle sluggishly grabbed her hand before staring at her husband.

"You look bothered. Tell me, what happened to you? Is it about the board members?" he asked weakly and cautiously.

The asswa's temper may get worse and he may feel angry. She doesn't want to give Trigger a stressful birthday.

The man averted his eyes. "All of the investors pulled out their investments from the company," it replied weakly.

Miracle's eyes widened. He immediately sat down next to the man. "What? Why? What happened? Did you have a fight?"

Trigger clenched his jaw. "You don't care. Stop asking me."

He got up from his seat but Miracle quickly pulled his wife's arm and made him sit down again. "Trigger tell me what happened. I don't want to be clueless about what's happening to you because you're still my wife."

It snatched the arm from his grasp. "Those jerks pulled out their investments because of my project. There, I said it! That's not my fucking problem here. I called my brothers to help me but they never answered me back. I'm fucking tired of all these bullshits that happened to me in this day, so stop asking me! "

Miracle didn't flinch when Trigger burst out in anger.

All she can see right now is not her husband who's very independent and strong. All she can see right now is her vulnerable husband who's seeking someone's attention and care. And even his own family can't give that when he's facing a big problem like this.
